Disaster strikes the Meifu! Due to an unexplained event ... be it Watari's experiment being left on the burner too long, Tatsumi finding out the exact sum charged to his credit card (Watari had paid for all the food ordered at Mibu's restuarant using the card before it was retrieved by our miserly accountant), Tsuzuki's usual bouts of mass destruction, more "check-ups" by Muraki or perhaps a combination of all the above, a huge explosion appears out of a corner of the Meifu, engulfing the entire Meifu in seconds.
Finally, the smoke clears and we find the Meifu left in extreme shambles, a pale shadow of what used to be the glorious underworld. In short, it is a "tian zai" - as D would put it. Needless to say, the Shinigami are freaked out but almost immediately gather their resources to try to restore the Meifu in their own little ways.
In one corner, we see Tatsumi intently perusing at the projected figures for the restoration works. One can only guess that he is implementing even further cuts to be made to the budget (if that is possible)!
In another corner, we have Tsuzuki, who is as usual, tied up, gagged and left on the side with the chickens guarding him ... proof that his colleagues have absolutely no faith that he will not aggravate matters with his ability to demolish cities and food in seconds ...
As for the boss Enma-daiou, he is relieved that none of his loved ones were injured in this whole incident. Thanks to his amazing foresight, his tapes were all safely stored in his fire-proof, explosion-proof and Tsuzuki-proof safe ...
