The Story so far …
a. Yami No Matsuei A shoujo manga (and anime) revolving around the lives of the shinigamis, the gods of death working under the Enma-chou division headed by Enma-daiou. In charge of bringing the souls that have passed on for judgment in the Meifu and investigating unnatural deaths, the shinigamis are granted powers for this purpose. However, as a shinigami is inevitably a soul which is unable to rest in peace because of a grievance or attachment to the mortal plane, shinigamis always work in pairs to prevent any of them from abusing his privileges. Although powerful and able to travel to the world of the living freely, they are the most poorly paid employees in the Meifu. Author - Matsushita Yoko
